In 2008, CACF established Project CHARGE (Coalition for Health Access to Reach Greater Equity), an advocacy collaborative to address health equity and access issues in Asian Pacific American communities.

With the advent of the Affordable Care Act also known as “Obamacare” in March 2010, I was tasked by Project CHARGE to design a guide for certified health navigators in assisting families with ACA key information and deadlines. This guide was available in English, Korean and Punjabi languages.
